New company focusing on sustainabale technologies

Raymond Kent April 23rd, 2010

As our modern world becomes ever more entwined with energy intensive technology, environmental impact and its effect on an organization's bottom line become increasingly important. The Sustainable Technologies Design Group (STDG) offers services vital to the success of technology intensive projects with a cradle to cradle strategy that works to achieve a balance between a company's core mission and its core environmental values.

STDG’s goal is to provide our clients with project tailored expertise in implementing new environmentally conscious technology strategies, improving or complementing existing technology, and / or replacing aging systems. STDG's depth of projects include master planning operations, new construction, adaptive re-use, renovations, and restorations of existing facilities.

STDG’s well-trained consultants believe that the key to a successful solution is based on providing excellence in fulfilling project obligations completely, confidently, reliably, and within project scope and budget.

Integral to the firm’s practice is the synthesis of Master Planning, Technology, Engineering, Interior Design, and Art to execute a singular design vision supporting clients’ goals - from creation of a compelling image down to a meticulous level of detail. These inseparable services orchestrate total environments that increase productivity, interaction, comfort, and user satisfaction while maintaining a lower carbon footprint.

Under the leadership of Managing Principal Raymond Kent, LEED AP CTS, these areas of expertise have been positioned to provide your projects with design and documentation of energy efficient technology systems for new and existing facilities. STDG's consulting offerings fall into the following design disciplines:

We also perform existing condition surveys, coordinate equipment installations, and inspect and commission AV systems.

Acoustical Analysis and Design:
Great acoustics makes for a better, healthier work/play environment. STDG can provide services in room acoustic design and analysis, internal and external acoustic isolation, and noise control of building systems.

STDG can provide you with cost efficient solutions in general, task, and accent lighting that are both pleasing to the senses and space defining. STDG can provide system design and specifications, ROI life-cost analysis, control systems design, day lighting analysis, focusing on “green” solutions.
