The PGAV community is growing… Join us! Goes Global: Now Supports International Audiovisual Companies

Matthew Grisafe (email) January 1, 2012

SAN MARCOS, CA January 1, 2012 – Peeek Network today announced a massive expansion of to include all countries around the globe. Since launching in May of 2011 the site has supported only US-based companies. Now, audiovisual companies and professionals around the world can join Peeek and take advantage of the directory system, job postings and AV Q&A.

"We're very excited to launch globally," said Matt Smith, Peeek Network's co-founder and lead developer. "Since day one, we've received requests for international support. Canada, Africa, and India have been some of the most frequent requests. Instead of building out the system to support one country at a time we decided to go global all at once. Now, customers around the world can find AV companies in their area, and easily identify quality organizations. We've also left the system architecture open so we can add greater resolution for popular countries. For example, right now countries like Canada are searchable simply by country. But later on we can refine the search features to also include
provinces within Canada, making the search even more powerful."

About Peeek .org:
The Peeek web system produces a single score for each company, which is then compared to companies of the same type. Users can search for AV companies by location, company type, or name. Users will undoubtedly compare companies by their respective scores, but they can learn much more by viewing each profile. Company profiles include basic information like location and contacts, and comprehensive items like certifications, team members and market segments served. Users can view the certifications posted by companies and individuals. Company and personal information on Peeek is user contributed and human moderated. In many cases, such as industry certifications, Peeek staff manually verifies the correctness of submitted content prior to publishing.

About Peeek Network:
Peeek Network focuses on improving the professional audiovisual industry across all vertical markets and company types. Founded in 2011 and based in San Marcos, CA, Peeek Network is dedicated to serving AV customers, companies and professionals throughout the United States and worldwide.
